- Pet Sitters Inc. is an alternative to a kennel for the pet that is truly a part of the family. Pet Sitters Inc. has the owner place their pet in a sitter's home, where it lives as the sitter's houseguest while the owner travels. Pet Sitters chooses the appropriate sitter based on a ten minute telephone interview with the owner about their pet's personality, lifestyle, and special needs. (Thus the dog that sleeps on the bed is matched with a sitter where this is permitted). Pet Sitters then attempt to match the pet with one of the sitters. When a match is made, the owner delivers and picks up the pet from the sitter's home and is encouraged to take their pet and meet the sitter first. Pet Sitter's goal is to provide a loving temporary home for the pet and peace of mind to the conscientious pet owner while traveling.

Thankfully we found Petsitters several years ago. Trying to find a place for an aging pet that is not used to kids anymore is challenging! But Petsitters matched our pet with a home that matched his very specific needs. Our small dog has been placed with 3 different families- each doing a fabulous job caring for our dog! He has been well taken care of!! And the fee is very competative.
Pet Sitter has been the best thing to happen to our dog when we are away from home. We have tried several kennels and were unhappy with all of them and then a friend told us about Pet Sitters. Your dog stays in someone's home and becomes part of their family when you are away. The Pet Sitter owner is very careful about making a placement and the petsitters who work for her are responsible and kind. The petsitters are conscientious about keeping your pet on his meal, medicine and potty schedule. When we pick up our dog, he is healthy and well-adjusted but happy to see us, of course. We highly recommend this service. It's worth every penny which by the way, is very competively priced with a kennel and you don't have to pay extra for administration of medicine, extra feedings or playing with your pet like in some kennels. Next time you go away, call Pet Sitters. Your pet will thank you for it!
Pet Sitters Inc is like leaving your pet with a good friend. Every sitter we have used from this service over the last almost twenty years has been responsible, caring and really delightful. They are reliable and kind to your pet, and responsive to your concerns when leaving your pet. Our dogs have loved the families and other dogs they have come to know. I have enjoyed getting to know the really nice people who provide this service.
