Performance Off Roadside

My husband has had his F250 truck there twice. The first time he dropped it off to have the clutch replace before he went to another state for training. (He's Army). When he came back a month later the truck was still not done. Even though he had paid $1000 upfront for the work. They made tons of excuses why it took so long. The wrong part had been ordered, the welder broke etc.It took over a month to get the truck back and he wasn't happy with the new clutch. They offered him a "deal" if he ever came back. He went back to have his 4wheel drive hubs replace because the old ones didn't work. Again the company "sent the wrong parts." One of the employees even took the keys home with him and the owner had to go get the keys to be able to work on the truck. Do not go to this shop unless you want to wait a very long time for your vehical. Go somewhere else!

so my husband has a 1988 f150 truck already lifted with 38 inch tires already on it...he takes it there to get a new clutch system cuz it was sticking and getting a gear ratio and lock systems for his truck...we dropped off his truck on sept 7th which is a holiday we were informed it was gonna b overnite for the parts to come in and i spoke up and said it might take longer cuz it was a holiday the man behind the counter said oh yeah u might b right.they didnt give us a definate date when the truck would b done but i firgured nothing over three weeks.so the total cost to get this done was 2800 dollars the owner wanted all the money up front. i told my husband he better not give them the whole amount because why pay for services that r not done yet do u give a waiter a tip if they havent brought u ur food yet.well anyway my husband gave them 2200 dollars of the 2800.we currently still do not have my husband truck and to day it oct 16th.they do not communicate.they do not call u and say ugh the gear ratio part is not in yet ugh...nothing like that.i had to call and ask.and the owner would never call me and i left 4 messages for him to call me. i would like a discount for my aggravation. so my best advice is to stay far far away.

I recently rear-ended someone with a trailer hitch in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic. I called my roadside assistance provider at 6:43 and was told Performance Towing would be there within an hour and 10 minutes, or by 7:53. After about an hour and 20 minutes my roadside assistance called back to follow up, and when I told them the tow truck had not arrived, they contacted the dispatcher and I was told that their previous tow had changed their drop-off location by 20 miles, but the tow truck would be with me within the next 20-25 minutes. An hour later they still had not shown and I called my roadside assistance AGAIN and this time the dispatcher told them the tow truck had been delayed by the police at the last accident but would be with me in the next few minutes. half an hour later I called yet again, because they had still not shown up. This time the dispatcher said that the previous tow had changed their drop-off location by 15 miles, and they'd be there in 20-25 minutes. My roadside assistance started trying to find another towing company who might have a truck available immediately. Just about a minute before they called back with another company, Performance Towing finally showed up-- at 10 pm, 3 HOURS and 15 minutes after I called from an accident scene. These guys are a joke.

I have a 2004 double cab Tacoma that I had them put a 6 inch lift and a spray in bed liner on. I payed cash upfront for a 3 day job and didnt get my truck back until 3 weeks later. absolutely zero professionalism. Did not know what they were doing, stripped my half shaft and nut, beat the crap out of my strut mount/housing, and offered me a so-called "good deal" on a set of rims for 1000$ that I found online with shipping for 450$. I personally have met 3 other people that have had similar issues or worse. Trust me, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
