Modern Garbage

We have been happy customers for 2 years. No complaints at all we appreciate the hard work. They gave us an extra can without us asking for it. We had some extra bags and they dropped it off without saying anything about it. I see these negative comments here about them and the only thing I can think of is there is 2 sides to every story. We are extremely pleased with the service they provide.

I have read some of the review that bad mouth Modern Garbage like people saying they dumped there garbage out and took their can. I personally think it when people don't pay their bill and Modern Garbage comes to collect there can that has trash in it that hasn't been paid to take so the garbage still belongs to the customer. I would give it back to them by dumping it out it not their garbage till the bill is paid. Good for you Modern Garbage. They have been on time no matter the weather or holiday. Yes if it's collection day and it fall on Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, etc they have always been on point. I say keep up the good work and I can see thjat they are by the number of cans I see. It takes a special person to deal with someone else's garbage.

Wendy whom works out of the home is the person who answers the phone. She has the shittest attitude and treats you as if she did you a favor by answering the phone. Its a shame people would act this way towards paying customers. Very Unprofessional... Look for an alternate company.

Horrible company!!!very unprofessional! I paid for 3 months of service and before the end of the 3rd month they refused to pick up (although they had been paid) because I hadn't continued the service..when I contacted them and told them to pick up their can the bastards emptied the trash on my lawn!!! Ridiculous seeing as they were paid in full! Do not use this company... neighbors recommend Harrison sanitation!

I placed an order for 3 trash cans and that Friday, 3 cans were delivered. I was quoted $43 per month to be paid at $129 quarterly; which was paid when the cans were delivered. The following Thursday when my trash was to be picked up, they took one of my cans stating that I had stolen it and that I was a liar and didn't order or receive 3 cans; this same guy was the one who delivered the 3 cans! He stated that 3 cans was $45 per month and I only paid $129 so I obviously didn't order 3 cans; again calling me a liar and a thief. He obviously doesn't know what the office is quoting people; bad communication. He then tried to tell me that he only dropped off 2. Someone with that sort of memory lapse shouldn't be working in a delivery capacity. He then preceded to threaten me with the police. I told him I wanted a refund and to just take the cans back. They took my trash back off of the truck and threw it in my yard. He demanded I go back inside my home while they finished. I refused because trash was going everywhere. The man was very hateful and condescending to me with his accusations and threats. I was not in the wrong here and I have never been so poorly treated by a company. Still waiting for someone to call me back about my refund. This company needs to keep in mind that they work for their customers; they are not doing us any favors and have no business behaving this way. I will discourage everyone I know in their operating area to stay away from them.

Customer service is despicable! Bad attitude and very rude. Don't give them your money!

HORRIBLE COMPANY! DO NOT use this company!

I used this company for residential trash pick up for about 3 months. I decided to no longer use this company after that period of time and therefore left the trash receptacle the company distributes out among it's costumers for the pick-up of trash at the end of my drive-- to allow access to the company's truck for convient pick-up. (I was so- to-speak, returning the receptacle back to the company.) After several weeks had passed and no one had picked up the trash receptacle- which was still setting at the end of my drive for convient pick-up, I finally placed it back in my yard.

I awoke this morning to find my garbage scattered all over my yard where the company employees had come to pick up the trash receptacle and proceeded to leave behind the trash....ALL OVER MY YARD! I would have simply taken the receptacle back to the end of my drive if that was needed, but no one from the company contacted me for this. So I was beyind angry. There customer service is SAD. Will never use again! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!
