Stay away!!!!!

It started off simple enough Checked Yelp for a locksmith What followed was hours of aggravation to program a car key



First---he copies my key on a metal blank and proceeds to cut the new key by eyeballing the gaps from the existing key---he uses a hand punch instead of a key cutting machine "Been doing this my whole life".



Well, that key gets f'd up. It's not an exact copy of the original. The locksmith turns my key so hard he breaks it but continues to program it........ 3 hours later. Really folks. 3 hours later he charges me $45 instead of the $50 originally quoted





The locksmith leaves and I go out to my vehicle to check everything out. The key fob breaks in my hand and I'm stuck with a key blade in my door I call the guy to come back and he says "this was an e commerce order so call the key place up to send you a new replacement key. "I'll come back and get ya all set up in a few minutes free of charge"



Days later....The new key arrives and I call him back. He arrives and gets right to it. 1 1/2 hours later he cannot figure out how to program the new replacement key I ask if he knew anybody that could possibly help him with this "technical" bit of locksmith ing. He replied. "My brother is a locksmith but he'll want to charge you if he comes out". OMG





This locksmith may be the greatest for doors on homes or businesses but STAY AWAY should you need a key programmed.



So now, I have 3 key fobs, 1 complete key that works correctly, 1 key blade with the fob not attached to the key blade but works correctly and a new replacement key fob that does not work the way it should.....AND I'm still out of my $45!!!!!
