Kids Nite Out

We just used Kids nite out this past friday for the first time with my 8yo and 11mo and the jury is still out on our experience. Everything seemed fine when we got back kids were asleep everyone was alive. However in getting ready for bed we noticed that the banana and grapes we left out for her to give our son were still on the dresser??? ok not the end of the world. Next morning ask our 8yo how it went good they had fun watched Aladdin. We get to our breakfast a cape mays DH notices the battery is almost dead on the video camera? DD said something which made me ask if she had played with it last night (not allowed by the way) "yes but I was just watching a couple videos I ask the babysitter she said it was ok". Ok not the end of the world so we go on, get home download all the videos from our camera and guess what 4 videos made by my 8 year old that night. So we ask again..yes I made the videos, I told her it was ok. Ugh Babysitter should have erred on the side of caution in my opinion still and said why don't you do that when your parents get back. watch the video's one is with my daughter charging through the room out the balcony then holing the camera out over the railing, up in the sky ect (on the 5th floor mind u) ok getting really unhappy next one the babysitter is sitting at the desk asking my 8yo what my infant has in his mouth WTH. So at this point I call KNO. I mainly just wanted to let them know what had happened so it wouldn't happen in the future and to frankly let them know that I was unhappy with what went on. Long story short. This babysitter is one of there most requested and they told me I could get back ground info on the babysitters if I ask next time (my thoughts- that's your job) and I should try someone different who might be able to better hand my kids difference in age (really!?!). They also told me that they had spoken to the sitter who had told them that my 8yo had "just shown her the pictures of the fantastic day we had had because she was so excited about it" (they didn't know I had found the videos yet) What a load of cr*p. well maybe she didn't realize it -well she was talking to my dd through the camera I think not. Also apparently she thought the fruit was a snack for my son and he never said he was hungry (um he's11mo how would you like him to tell you and never mind that We never used the word snack as it wasn't she was supposed to take both kids out to the CL lounge at 8 when desserts get put out let dd pick something get a high chair and feed my son how do you miss that??) Needless to say I was more unhappy after I talked to them and she blatenly lied about what went on that night. They did refund my money however it wasn't about that and I felt uneasy about taking it as we did use there service and it really doesn't make it better. will we use them next time maybe maybe not as I said before everyone was fine however if we ever do I will be asking for there experience and life history before they are allowed to come in my room and will have a very detailed check list of exactly what will happen while we are gone and may bring my video monitor that I can set up to view on my phone just to keep any eye on things.
