General Info
The Talking Stick - or Story Stick - is a familiar tool used in many Native American tribes that allows all members to share their story or point of view. Ken Prestley's story stick takes various forms but is most often seen as a pencil or a paintbrush. Ken uses his Story Stick to paint a story that will become a part of your life. As he finishes his art, he passes his painted story on to you. It's up to you to make the story your own.

I contracted Ken to do portraits of my 2 golden retreivers. I sent him a couple of pictures of each dog. He had never seen them in person. When I received the finished portraits, I was truly amazed at the detail. He actually captured their individual personalities and transferred them to the canvas. If you want a painting of your four legged or two legged loved ones, I recommend Ken Prestley.

Ken has an amazing ability to personalize his work for his clients. His heartfelt input manages to capture the "feeling" of people, places and buildings. He has done caricatures of my grandchildren, a drawing of my summer home on the lake, and my downtown Toronto Victorian property. As well, my partner coveted one of Ken's own favorite drawings of a paddle-wheel boat on the Mississippi, which he reluctantly agreed to sell. Ken is a talented artist who produces quality work in many different media and many different categories. You'll be proud to display any of Ken's custom or commissioned work. Cheers!
