Hall Andrew E & Son Plumbing & Heating

Our house is 200+ years old. Andrew Hall Plumbing has replaced both of our boilers and fixed a radiator that wasn’t working. We have also used his garbage dumpsters. All of the employees that we have met have been courteous and professional. Andrew Hall was honest with his estimates and patiently answered all of our questions regarding the work to be done. There were no surprises and all of the work was completed in a timely manner with our premises being left very clean. Recently we had some emergency work done when our old home whole house trap became clogged. The technicians were quick to arrive and fixed our problem fast without any drama. You can definitely count on this company to take good care of you!

Hiring Andrew E Hall & Son is a crap shoot.
You may get someone who is knowledgeable and professional or you may get someone who is totally clueless.
On several occasions they repaired and installed my propane gas fireplaces. No problem. The last time the men who came didn't know where to start or what to do. They spent a great deal of time reading the fireplace manual!!
They were at my house for 2.5 hours and still did't fix the problem.
Then, of course, I received an outrageous bill.
When I made several attempts to call and discus the bill, I received no response.
We finally had to resolve the dispute in small claims court.
Better to be safe than sorry, call someone else.

BEWARE using this company. They came out advertising a free estimate, I signed nothing and was asked for no money. They sent a plumber out immediately who checked my shower pan, which I told them was the problem, and then damaged my ceiling further. Nothing else was said, I received an estimate a week later for an amount double the price of anyone else and I told them I was going with another company. Three months later they send a bill for plumbing services "Checking the pan". And when I refused to pay it since they did not indicate checking the pan, which I asked they not to check was going to be billed, they now are now suing me.

I've been using Andrew Hall & Sons for the past 2 years and I have always had a good experience. I never had a problem with them and everyone who has been to my house is very professional. It is easy to get an appointment as well. I only gave 4 stars because it is expensive.

Horrible company to work with. Lacked proper training and experience ruined an entire boiler system and then tried to collect for several times more than the agreed rates. There are plenty of choices find a firm that stands behind its work and is properly trained.
