Hager Rental

Pros: The apartments are clean, well maintained, and in a great location.

Cons: They don't take rent payments over the phone even though they advertise that they accept Visa payments. If you travel like me, this is a huge inconvenience. They dont take your complaints seriously. I complained for weeks about my neighbors taking my two dedicated spots (outlined in my lease) and they did NOTHING till someone backed into my friends car and then they sent ME a letter saying to park only in my dedicated spots. ALSO, when I called to pay my rent on the phone the first time (when I found out they wouldn't take these payments), because I was out of town for work, they said they would make note that I would pay my rent when it town and it would be fine....I came home to an eviction notice, because they refused to take my payment on the phone and they obviously didn't make note of my conversation. I was NOT happy about this, and did receive an apology from Hager after writing a letter of complaint about the situation.



Overall: If you never have a reason to pay your rent late even by one day (because they will send you a letter the first day late), and you are fine that your complaints are not taken seriously, should you have a problem, then you probably won't have any problems. But, don't expect them to be understanding should something come up, and don't expect them to give you a good reference if YOU had problems because your neighbors were breaking the rules.



I will personally never rent from this company again! The worst experience I have ever had!
