Established in 2003, Gateway Dog Training is a locally owned company located in Dripping Springs, Texas. We were formed in 2003 to answer the need for a local provider of reliable reward-based dog training. Training that's easy and enjoyable for both human and dog. Gateway Dog Training specializes in educating owners about the principles of responsible dog ownership, working with children, working with dogs adopted from rescue organizations, and "home-style" boarding. Our motto, "Well-behaved. Simple and fun." says it all. You can have a well-behaved dog, it's not hard, and there's no reason it can't be fun for all parties involved.

SpecialtiesIn-home puppy and adult dog training: this includes puppy home-manners, behavior modifications, aggression reactivity, separation anxiety among others. We use dog-friendly, positive reinforcement methods keeping the training simple while having fun. We come to you for your convenience and to allow for your entire family to be participants in this training. Dog swimming: you can teach your dog how to swim, do dog swimming therapy or simply dog swim for fun in a safe and easily accessible environment. Water Sport training: Speed Retrieve, Dock Diving or Distance Jumping, High Jumping or Vertical Jumping, and Iron Dog which encompass all three previously mentioned water sports. All training is done in a regulation pool. Home-Style Boarding: Our facility is our home, you pup comes into our home as our pet and as such we treat him/her.
