        FireLake Wellness Center, located in Shawnee, Okla., is a private Native American wellness and fitness facility that offers a wide variety of diabetic education, nutrition and exercise programs. Its staff works in association with diabetic initiative teams and nutritionists to help educate the Native American community about health and wellness. The center is spread on an area of more than 21,000 square feet, including over 7,000 square feet of walking track, storage and office space. FireLake Wellness Center also offers various elders programs that provide lunches, transportation, and excursion trips, and games, including bingo. It additionally offers the caregivers program that provides support groups, respite care and informational tools to caregivers for the elderly.
