        Repair Process Expert Auto Glass Provides mobile rock chip repair service for car windshields. Our Expert technicians begin by drilling into the damaged area of the windshield and filling the air pockets with UV resin material which dries in sunlight and replaces the glass. The technician then seals the area with a thicker resin material. This process takes five to ten minutes per chip. Warranty Service Repairs will look different based on the size and shape of the damage. The chip may still be visible and there may be a threat of further damage during or after the repair. Expert Auto Glass is not liable for further damage, however we will warranty the completed repair for one year. If the damage spreads after repair Expert Auto Glass will apply a credit for the amount of the repair toward the replacement. Payment Through Insurance Expert Auto Glass is able to bill insurance companies for the cost of repairs. Customers may be eligible to have their insurance company pay for the repair. For repairs, deductibles are usually waived and Expert Auto Glass does not charge anything to the customer if their insurance pays for the repair. We are able to call insurance companies on behalf of the customer with their policy information to set up a glass claim, with the insured present, before doing the repair. This process usually takes about five minutes.
