Elite Mobile Auto Detail

I was scheduled at 1 pm on June 22. I called well ahead of my scheduled appointment to make sure Elite Mobile Auto Detail would be on site at 1 pm. No answer . . . Called another time and still no answer. I finally get a call back several minutes before my appointment and first thing I get is excuses on why they are late and why they will be on site at 4 pm - 3 hours late, at the very least. One of the excuses I got was "the car was dirty". The owner seemed to think people get their cars detailed when they are perfectly clean . . . . GENIUS! Something tells me they knew they were going to be late but just waited to literally the last few minutes to keep me posted. This ruined a lot of my plans and prevented me to going to some other detailer this late in the date.



Its funny, you would expect a cook to know how long it takes to grill a stake . . . so why doesn't someone who is an experienced detailer know how long it takes to clean a car? Obviously the answer is that Elite Mobile Auto Detail are not experienced, they are unprofessional, and that you shouldn't count on them. I am still waiting for my car to get detailed, so I can't comment on their ability to clean and polish, but half of a good performance requires being on time, right?
