Drain Rite Plumbing Services

I called to make an appointment on 7/17. tThe lady that set up the appointment was nice and friendly no complaints on her. She told me that the plumber was going to show up between the hours of 2 and 3pm didn't show up I then called there office 3:28 pm same lady said he was on his way ok no problem now at 4:23 the plumber calls me to ask me what was wrong or as he stated whats the problem. Very bad attitude telling me that he has had a bad day yelling down at me then telling me that he's the best plumber and that he was going to give me a good deal after he talked over me disrespected me.

Beware of yet another company that advertises one thing and charges for another - will attach a pic of the ad after this review posts.



Straightforward deception. Called on 11/23/12, explained clearly that I had a kitchen drain clog due to too many potato peels going down the drain and asked about the $49 advertised price. The rep asked if i had an accessible wash out drain, I said yes. She said as long as that was accessible, any clog is $49. I re-explained my problem one last time, and re-confirmed the price, and she (Christina) said yes.



Fast forward to 11/24/12 at 9am, Steve (the tech), calls me to confirm the address and asks me about the problem. He tells me that it will most likely be $135 since he'll have to remove some of the pipe under the sink. I re-explained my conversation from the prior day and I was very careful to confirm the price, and I knew the company was clear on what my problem was, so why are they changing the price now?



He told me if the clog is before the drain clean out it makes a difference in which price they can honor. I reminded him that they have an ad that is clearly posted advertising $49 without any ambiguity or astericks in addition to a very clear and detailed converstaion with his office. So there were ample opportunities for this to come up ahead of time. And I've already wasted a day with this process.



Long story short, multiple calls with the office and Steve, they won't budge on the price even though they acknowledge they get a lot of complaints on this very same issue.



Called another friendlier plumber, got it done for $50 which is the most you should charge for a simple drain clog.
