Dallas Reading and Language Services provides speech therapy to pre-school and school age children in the Dallas area. We also provide reading intervention through multi-sensory reading programs. To get started, the Speech Language Pathologist (speech therapist) will complete Speech, Language and Reading Testing with your student. The cost for an assessment is $150, and includes a written report and consultation with the Speech Therapist. Our testing is extensive and includes formal and informal assessments. Our speech therapist has high expectations of students, and has a very good history of helping students to succeed. She often tells parents “We don’t give up on ourselves as therapists, so I’m not about to go giving up on my students. They must know without a doubt, that they can and will accomplish many great things”. Dallas Reading and Language Services accepts private pay patients on a sliding scale basis, and will soon accept insurance and Medicaid. Families using insurance will still need to pay a small sliding scale fee for the reading portion of their child's therapy. Conveniently located in Oak Cliff, our speech language therapist uses a combination of programs and approaches to best address your child's needs.
