Overall

The post from 3-17-16, this person failed to mention that SHE pulled out in front of the driver. These trucks cant stop as quickly as cars do, so the driver was probably upset because not only was she endanerging herself but also the driver and any others that may have been on the road at that time. The other post about dispatching, each business runs differently, here at Dale's Towing the dispatcher also runs calls day and night and is always on call while answering phones. So sometimes they are probably rude or asleep depending on the moment. They maybe on the interstate trying to load a car as other cars whizz by @ 60 mph they may sound rude but are just trying to get out of harms way and they may also be in a dead sleep when a call comes out but it's not always the tow companies fault, sometimes in the electronic world the calls do not come over in a timely fashion and in order for us to get paid for the work done we have to have the info sheet from the ins carriers/motor clubs.

Overall

Truck sped up in an attempt to hit me as I pulled onto Trollingwood Rd. Then tailgated me for over 2 miles blowing his horn. When I called to speak with "management" they told me -"I have 15 trucks, I'm not going to call them all to figure out who it was." EXTREMELY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU WISH TO BE TREATED WITH COURTESY.

The driver was very friendly but the dispatcher leaves much to be desired. I called my ins. carrier at 12:15 am and they notified the tow company I needed assistance by 12:34 am. They gave me an arrival time of 1:34 am. I called the number of the dispatcher they gave me at 1:40 am requesting an eta the dispatcher who had obviously been asleep stated it would be 30 - 40 minutes before the driver arrived. I explained that the ins. carrier had given me a 1 hour eta when the request was made at 12:34 am and that the driver was already late. He re-stated the 30 minute wait time. At 2 am I called my ins. company back reporting the driver still had not arrived. The ins. carrier called the dispatcher who stated he would call the driver, I remained on hold with my ins. company while they called him a second time and stated the driver would call me within 10-15 minutes. After 10 minutes the driver called and said he was 10 minutes away. When I got in the tow truck, I explained what happened to the driver and he showed me his phone showing that he had not even gotten the call until 2:10 am after the ins. carrier had called him to find out why he was late. My opinion is the dispatcher needs to find another line of work. There are people in need and to make them wait unreasonably in the winter when the temps are below 30 degrees just so he can get a few extra hours sleep is cruel and unusual punishment.
