Customz Wrecker Service

Customz Wrecker Services towed my vehicle from an apartment complex in North Austin. My car was parked in a visitor's spot, with the visitor's parking tag clearly displayed on the dash. But they towed it anyway. I paid $200 to get my vehicle out of the lot. The apartment complex called the towing company, and assured me that I would get my money refunded. I called the towing company and they also assured me that I would get my money refunded, it would just take a few days to process. It was only after filing a Better Business Bureau complaint and over a month of phone calls and emails that I finally got a refund. The one good thing I can say about them is that the owner (Ibrahim), the gentleman who got my car out of the lot, was very polite and courteous. The charmer who answers the phone on the other hand (Randy, manager), the one who intentionally held up my refund, is a whole different story.

BEWARE! They will do whatever they can to get more money out of you. They towed my car then refused payment and refused to return my car! I ended up having to get 2 Wilco Sheriffs to come onsite to FORCE him to accept the payment and return my car. They threatened me, they threatened my Mom and cursed at us...Originally told me that I could NOT come get my car, then when we finally got someone on site, he again refused me and LEFT, causing us to have to call the Sheriff to get involved and get him to return to the site as well as get him to take the payment and return my car. THE MOST unprofessional service I have ever encountered. Admittedly, dealing with a tow company is never easy but this was just ridiculous. Even the Sheriff admitted that he was being completely unreasonable and was trying to bully me into being forced to leave my car there for another day or more in order to collect more money.
