Turnover in the three year old class is horrible and I am not sure where they find these people. The teacher they had when they first started (Ms. Laura) was great with my girls once it was explained to her the special needs of the girls and what we do to help them calm down. Ms. Laura was loved by both the girls because she knew how to deal with them. Since Ms. Laura left I have had nothing but problems, either being called to come pick up one or both of the girls or them being sent to the office because of their bad behavior. With that being said let me explain these "behaviors", the girls have multiple issues and one of them being sensory processing disorder. This causes the girls to have meltdowns and when this is occurring they flail their arms and legs and throw things. They are not fully aware they are doing this because these actions are not pre meditated nor being done to "be mean". Before even enrolling the girls I explained all of their issues and made sure that this daycare was the right fit for them and they could handle them. One of the girls was kicked out because of her last meltdown. Now, she was 3 years old when this happened (I said was because they turned 4 this past Friday (7/19/19). Apparently she "threw" a pair of scissors at Asonya (the teacher that keeps sending them to the office or home), my 3 year old was kicked out of daycare while the teacher that left the scissors where a 3 year old could get ahold of them is still there. If she is not responsible enough to put sharp objects out of the reach of small children then she shouldn't be allowed to work with small children. No one saw this incident so it is a he said she said situation. I have demonstrated to this new teacher what to do to calm them down and such and she refuses to do anything other then send her home or to the office. Again, 3 years old!!!!
