I have been dealing with U S Gold Buyers for years now and am very pleased with their service. They pay way above what any local pawn shop will pay for like jewelry items. They pay the postage, and offer lightening-fast service. All you have to do is fill out a form from their web site stating what you are sending to them. FedEx picks up the package. Payment comes so quickly. You have nothing to lose. They will return your jewelry if you aren't content with their offer. I have used PayPal and personal checks for payment. I researched many on-line gold buyers and local pawn shops before I first used them. I feel I made the right decision.

I had heard about US Gold Buyers on TV a bunch of times, and knew of a few pieces I had wanted to sell but wasn't so sure if mailing it in was a good idea. I ended up taking a chance and called the company in NY though I was in San Diego, and they walked me through a couple EASY steps to mail in my pieces. The man was very nice, too. Bonus!

Someone came to pick up my pieces, which I thought was super convenient. I had told them a time I would be home and they came right away. I sent in my pieces, and within a WEEK I seriously had a check come back for a couple hundred dollars. I was so excited and it was THAT easy. I will definitely be using this company again and SOON :) !

Get this! I called for easy instructions to ship my broken gold through their insured Federal Express service and my pkg gets there the next morning -the very NEXT DAY! I got a call with a price offer which was 96% of the gold mkt price and the money deposited in my bank account the SAME DAY! You tell me, was this easy? I'm happy and over-joyed with their service to be quite honest!

I sent some gold into you and you offered me less than my local pawn shop offered me. You claim to pay more. Come on. It took you over 3 weeks to send my gold back to me. Good luck to everyone who send gold to them.

I decided to use them after I saw the channel 7 news story. To my surprise they were very knowledgable and paid me over 3200 for my scrap gold. The local jeweler only offered me 1500. These guys are the real deal

I tried using their service but they are not what they promise. They offered me far less than other stores in Las Vegas. All i can say is dont use them there are other choices that are far better.

This company lists their business of buying and selling gold under the heading of pawnbrokers. They are NOT licensed pawnbrokers. They do have a legitimate business and provide a great service, but are NOT licensed pawnbrokers. If you would like to use your gold and jewelry as collateral, you can maintain control of it and not sell it. Pawnbrokers offer you many choices where you do not have to simply sell your items. Perhaps you should try a licensed pawnshop in your local area instead of sending your gold and metals to someone you do not know and therefore have little if any recourse. Oregon state statutes provide that no person or entity is to mislead the public in their advertising and that if you are not a licensed pawnbroker in the state of Oregon, you are NOT allowed to advertise under the heading. Oregon statutes also state that bonafide licensed pawnshops MUST include their license number in all advertising to prove to the public that they are legitimate. These folks do not do either, so beware now you can make an informed decision. When I sent them an e-mail it was returned with a very short answer about how they pay so much more than pawnbrokers so it is okay. I never questioned how much they pay and do not make that my concern or the focus of my issue. I only mean to inform them and the public that the State of Oregon says what they are doing is not appropriate. If they choose to continue that way that tells me what I need to know about their business ethics. By the way, the advertising agency is not interested in being a watchdog, so even though this has been brought to their attention, they do nothing to stop it. They are only interested in generating revenue.

They do pay for your gold and seem to be a reputable company, but they do not pay top dollar. I turned down an offer from my local coin dealer because my wife had fallen for the promises these guys gave and the check I received was less than 60% of the offer I turned down. Great service but not a fair deal.

I sent it my odds and ends gold scraps and was pleasantly surprised with the payout. They were helpful, prompt and paid top dollar. I highly recommend them!
