Overall

I've been doing business with Coastal Tires for close to 10 years and I have never had one single complaint with these wonderful people. They have always been fast, friendly, and very professional on every level! No run-a-rounds or hassles . They really know their business!

Overall
UNDER NEW MANAGER

As of 2012 Coastal Tire has been under new management. And I for one am a very satisfied customer.

Overall
Dishonest Manager

I used their tow service to transport my wife's Cadillac XLR Roadster to a local Cadillac dealer for servicing.

We did not notce until the driver had left there was a significant oil spot and gas leak on our new concrete driveway and two large dead areas in our recently sodded grass where he parked the truck to get a better loading position. We found a very metal hook beside the dead soddded area.

I called and spoke with the manager and explained my situation. The very first thing he asked me was, "do you have proof that my truck caused the damage"? I said to him"I'm 60 plus years old, I am telling you the truth, have no reason to lie and I sure don't need your money,

I told him the oil and gas areas were still there and no one has driven in my yard or on my driveway. He said that wasn't good enough and that I needed proof or else he was not going to do anyrthing. He then said he didn't want to talk to me anymore and he hung up.

I just wanted my driveway clean and sod replaced.

Overall
Incompetent personnel and dishonest

Incompetent and dishonest. Pulled in for a simple tire repair, found 1/2" nail in the tire. Drilled a hole to put a plug in a very expensive performance tire instead of patching it (too much work I guess). The hole they drill messed up the entire tire make it impossible for further repair. Took the tire to a competent auto repair and after 4 repairs with different patching and patching with plug I was told that the repair was impossible because of the previous job done to the tire. Had to purchase a new tire for $240. When contacted the owner of the shop for explanations, I was told they will refund me the $13 for the repair... Take your own conclusions
