BEWARE!!!



I hired CA Custom Maid Service in June of 2012 to complete a move out cleaning of a house my mother had been renting in Agoura Hills.



After the crew had left, I returned to the house to find two softball sized bleach stains in the middle of the living room carpet.



I received a message on my phone from Rubin stating the maids had tossed a spray bottle of bleach down the hall, which landed in the living room, leaking in that spot, and that they "accepted responsibility and would take care of it".



Since that day, I've had multiple phone calls and emails with Rubin. I forwarded the proposal for repair as requested. It was a reasonable cost of $500, especially considering the size and location of the stains IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LIVING ROOM, which was deducted from the deposit by the landlord. They have never denied responsability for it, and I have messages saved on my phone in which they accept responsibility, saying they will reimburse me the cost to repair the carpet. I've had several phone calls with Rubin (if and when he returns my call) over the course of the last 8 months where he continues to tell me it will be handled, and I will be reimbursed.



My last email and several messages have again gone unanswered. I am now forced to file a claim in small claims court to recoup what they have said numerous times they would reimburse to me.



Beware. The maids did a decent job, but if they damage something they will walk away with your money and never look back.



Rubin and California Custom Maid Service...it has been EIGHT MONTHS! WHERE IS THE MONEY WHICH YOU HAVE ADMITTED IS OWED TO ME AND HAVE REPEATEDLY PROMISED TO REIMBURSE ME?

BEWARE OF CALIFORNIA CUSTOM MAID SERVICE!!!



This company is nothing but a scam. I bought a discounted LA Weekly Deal of The Day certificate - 2 maids for up to 3 hours; however, when I tried to use the certificate I was told they had no record of the certificate. The general manager than proceeded to tell me that I should contact the Weekly to get a refund and pay his company directly. WHAT. ARE YOU KIDDING. You lie to me and tell me you have no record of my certificate being bought and then you try and get me to buy your services directly from you. Being in the marketing business, I know how deal of the day certificates like the weekly's or Groupon work. The company running the deal of the day advertises the business and in return they pay the actual company doing the promotion a percentage of what the deal of the day company collects. The general manager was trying to get the benefit of the Weekly's Deal of the Day advertisement without paying for it. I would never do business with an UNETHICAL person like this. I promptly contacted the weekly, obtained a refund and know am writing this review so everyone knows how this business operates.



In my opinion, if the person running the business is UNETHICAL, you shouldn't trust them to BE IN YOUR HOME.

When clients purchase one of these deals, we ask them to provide a copy of the voucher. Our office had several conversations with the client and asked for a copy but it was never sent. When our office reviewed the list of clients that purchased a voucher and the client's name didn't show up. We asked the LA Times for advise and confirmation of purchase and they couldn't confirm that either. We explained these details to the client and asked to please forward a copy of the voucher and we will be happy to resolve it but a copy was never sent. The client insisted that his credit card was charged. We understand that an error could have taken place between the LA Times ( who ran the deal) and the charge of the credit card and advised the client to contact them and get a refund since we don't process any of the charges. In an effort to provide him with the same deal, we offered to charge him the same price after he gets the issue resolved.
