Overall

I am honestly not sure about the other bad reviews here. I Called Cliff recently when my dishwasher broke. He came out evaluated the machine, gave me an estimate and said he would be back when the part is in. A few days later the part arrived and he fixed the machine. (for $10 less than his estimate).

Seemed like a reasonable and nice guy to me. If something breaks soon I will update this review, but as of now I think he is on the up and up.

this guy is a scam artist.

This cliff guy came to fix my oven...charged me $180 dollars to replace a couple wires. A month later the oven isn't working again. I called him and set a time for him to come back and he no showed. Set up another time and he came and said more wires needed to be replaced...10 minutes later the thermostat was the problem? He also claims someone else tried fixing it which is absolutely not true. He asked for a check which I said no as I paid 180 a month earlier and for a month fix? Scam. Clearly by other reviews this guy has a reputation of doing this to people.

Watch it. He had to return to fix the problem, which should have been evaluated the first time. Cliff charged me $90.00 for the service call, which should have been evaluated on the first $180.00 call. If my wife saw the problem, why not he? The additional part was $12.00! I think I was scammed........................

Bad Customer Service

I contacted C.S. Appliance to have my refrigerator door gasket replaced. I explained that it was torn and in need of replacing. I talked with Cliff Scimone and told him that I had the part number and found an on-line site that had the part for $45.00. He told me to hold off on ordering the part maybe he could take a look at it and rerpair the gasket. He came by two days later and examined the gasket a few minutes later he told my wife it did need replacing and charged $45.00 for the service. He would order the part and contact us when it was in and the $45.00 would be used towards repairing the gasket.



A week later I contacted him to see if he had the part and he did. He set up a time to come by and replace the gasket. My wife waited at home for hours on end and he never showed. Days later I had contacted him again and he apologized and guaranteed he would come by and replace the gasket. We set up another time and again he never showed. We left him a telephone message asking him to let us know if he is planning on fixing the refrigerator or not. If not, we would like our $45.00 back. Cliff has never returned our telephone call. At this time we spent money for a service that was never completed and our refrigerator is still broken.
