Any Brand Appliances

Guy showed up at my house and at the doorstep stated "its your gasket." I asked that he at least LOOK at the washing machine which was pouring out water. He states "it is not leaking" I state "can't you see the water?" He promises to order the part. 4 weeks has passed. I call once a week and every time I am told that I have to talk to the technician who of course never calls back. This company is a scam, they take your money which is pure profit because they don't actually have to do anything for the money. Don't use them

I'm with a moving company that moves 96% military members out of Missouri. I had a member call in and say that they're dryer wasn't working. No problem. After going on yellowbook and finding a list a mile long of appliance repair companies, I decided on Any Brand Appliance because they were the only company that would let me pay them directly instead of inconveniencing the member and having them pay and me reimbursing them. They took a day and a half to call the customer to set up an appointment, then didn't show up at the time specified and came at 8 at night and was only there for 10 minutes to do an estimate when I was very adamant that we wanted the dryer repaired, no question asked. Then I called yesterday and the receptionist said I needed the invoice number to get a copy of the estimate faxed to me, which I didn't have and they couldn't pull it up by the customer's name, address, time, etc. I called back later with the invoice number, and she didn't have it in her office. She thought maybe the tech had it, once she called him she would fax it over. Called a few hours later to ask about the fax, gave her the invoice number and my fax number again and said the computer was down but she would send it to me ASAP. Called this morning, and the owner of the company put it in the mail today. All I wanted was for the military member's dryer to be repaired on site, if parts had to be ordered I can understand that, but fax me an estimate like I asked for 3 times instead of mailing it to me. So now, because of their incompetence, I look like an idiot in front of my customers, who have been without a dryer for 2 weeks now and has a family of 5. I'm almost scared to have them fix the dryer now.

I've used ABA Any Brand Appliances for my Heating and Air Conditioning Service and repair work at my home and rental properties for years! They are honest and reliable service providers that I would highly recommend to anyone who needs their service! I have had refrigerators, washing machines, furnace and air conditioning work done by this company. Their service providers are trained, skillled and courteous!

A few weeks ago I had a appliance break down. It was a weekend and I looked online to find a company in my area (Falls Church) that could look at it right away. The person that answered the phone at ABA said they could have a technician out the next day. The rate was $65.00 for the service call that would be applied to the repair cost. Sounded ok so the guy came the next day (Sunday). Upon arrival he said he would check it out and let me know what he finds. About 30 to 40 minutes later he called me and said he checked everything and concluded it was the timer device. He said he had to order it and would call Monday with the cost. Waited till noon Monday with no call. I called ABA and the lady said she would call the technician an call me back. She didn't call back. At this point i had a bad feeling about ABA and decided to order the part and install it myself. Ordered it from Tribles supply and picked it up Tuesday afternoon/installed it in about 20 minutes. Works fine.

Had a message on my phone from ABA Tuesday afternoon saying that "the part was no longer available" then click. This is a major brand appliance about 3 years old. I was able to easily get the part myself in one day.

Since this happened I've read a review on another site. That person described almost the exact same experience. With the exception of getting the part and repairing it themselves.

Its very strange that they did not follow through with the repair that I would have gladly paid for. They made a service call for free on a weekend day and evaluated the problem correctly.

We were very polite to him while he was at our home.The only thing i noticed was that the technician seamed to have a bit of an attitude for some reason.

They don't even deserve a star!

They game me the run around, didnt come back when they were supposed to and it took a nasty phone call to have them do something about it.

Not worth your time nor money!
