Do not go there!!!

They have no clue what they are doing. I wouldn't even give them my bicycle for repair let alone my rig. Got in there cuz my truck didn't have enough power, I told them to change fuel filter and separator...they opened up turbo and air to air....and in the end the fuel filter was the problem. Bunch of crooks, they should be behind bars.

I got my Pete towed here because my diff. went out and it would be awhile before Rush Peter could get me in! I got there and they put my truck in immediately and got to work! Went off to the motel and the next day they call and say its ready! Good Deal, I got back on the road and I saved myself time and money. thanks guys!

DO NOT GO HERE!! These guys are crooks!! Had my vehicle for two weeks and then called and said they could not fix the wiring issue and for me to take it to someone who could because they weren't capable. Very unprofessional. Then charged me $600.00 for a $300.00 tow and charged me $400.00 to look at it for three hours (so called diagnostic). Yet had the vehicle for 2 weeks. Cost our company a lot of money being without the truck working and then to charge $1000.00 for absolutely nothing. And have to still have it towed off again to someone that can make the repair. Totally unacceptable!! BEWARE!!!

I am the owner of Americorp Diesel Repair. One of my employees told me about the review detailed below. Every employee in our shop is shocked by the comments registered by this customer. We received a service call from the customer because his driver had run over a semi tire and the truck was not operational. It was a tense situation as our technician was dispatched to him and a police officer was present and calling for a tow to get him off the side of the road. Our technician got to him in time to save him the charges for the city tow (these tows are expensive and just gets you off the freeway). Upon inspection of the truck, our tech saw that air lines, electrical wiring, sensors, harnesses had all been ripped away. It was necessary to cage the brakes (no air) and tow to our shop. A tow alone in Houston is about $500...so how can this bill have been $350?? All said we worked through the night after preparing an estimate (that was sent to EJ) and getting authorization to work overtime and the driver was able to get his load. A total of 19 different parts were put on this truck and the driver also asked if we could inspect his drier (which we did and replaced). At no time did the customer register a complaint...not when we told him our service call fee, hourly rates, sent the estimate, when he paid the bill...not one word. We regret that he feels this way and wish he would have let us know before he had the work done if he was unhappy with the charges. Instead he allows us to do all of his emergency repairs--work through the night in order for him to get quickly back on the road--and then complains. Not to us, but online. Wow.

If i could give zero stars I would stay far away from this place.. Any good reviews on this page must have been posted by the owner and his friends.. This place sucks and a big rip off.. They totally took advantage of my driver and company with their over inflated junk fees. I went in for a $350 fix came out with a $2000 bill. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DESERVE TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. I HAVE NEVER TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE A REVIEW ON ANYONE BEFORE.. BUT I FEEL COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF.. STAY AWAY

If I told my best friend about Americorp I'd say that I am glad I found this place for road service. the response time was about 35 minutes and the mechanic did a fine job. But the reason I am writing a review was b/c the mechanic remembered that I said I was low on fuel. When he was done he said he had diesel in the back of his truck and he woud follow me to the fuel station. I appreciate the customer service here.

Great experience with this company. I guess noone writes anything anymore unless its bad. I had a problem with my truck starting. They hooked me up to their computer and found codes for my EGR and low volts. I had a disconnected EGR and a bad starter cable. The forman took me in the garage and showed me everything. They tested everything they touched. These guys are professional, polite and experienced. I was ready to go quick and my ticket was about $400. I'm happy what can I say? They even mads sure I had lunch.

Even if I told my worst enemy about this place it would go something like this. Stay away find somewhere else because the prices are through the roof the work is very lousy and the place is a dump and no remorse towards you when they screw you over. I went in just to have a thermostat put in and they charged me $1,121.23 for 4 hours of work. I have done my homework and and after checking with 3 other volvo dealers they said they charge between $616-$750 for the exact same work. If that's not bad enough I only made it 17 miles down the road before all the parts they put back on leaked out all my antifreeze and then cost me to loose 2 of my biggest paying loads and not one person wanted to make it right by me when i questioned them about everything. Out of 9 years of being an o/o this is by far the worst experiense and service i have ever experienced. Check this out on my reciept it says they charged me for 10 gallons of antifreeze but they had to delute it to 50/50 so thats 20 gallons right. It says 10 gallons at $24.07 a gallon so deluted at 50/50 thats 5 gallons of antifreeze and 5 gallons of water so they charged me $120.35 for 5 gallons of water and $120.35 for 5 gallons of antifreeze. $24.07 for a gallon of water is HIGHWAY ROBBERY. No beating around the bush with this shop. I was told in language I understand what was wrong with my truck no delays. The mechanics took personal pride in my truck and I have never been treated this way at any other shop in the country and I have been to alot.

My husband and I drive our rig together. While driving thru Houston on our way home for Christmas our rig started making a noise and shaking. We called Americorp and they worked thru the night to get us fixed. They made us feel welcome, at home and the best thing is they really went the extra mile to be sure we were with our family for Christmas.

Don't trust these guys, I took my truck in to fix a coolant leak, the guy looked under my hood with cell phone light, cause their shop didnt have adequate light. Red Warning alarms went off immediately, then he the mechanic got on the phone as though speaking with someone who was telling him the problem without even looking at the truck. Well they said they repaired my Resevoir for the power steering, and I admit, I do see that it has been replaced, but the major thing which was the water pump being replaced, well thats another thing, because the coolant is still running out!
