Always Helpful Movers

I had this company move some furniture for and they put a deep scratch into an antique mahogany dining room table. The mover admitted to the deep scratch and I was assured it would be fixed. The owner called me and said he would set up a time to have someone come to the house to repair the furniture. Soon after when I had attempted to call him to find out why it had not been completed, he would not return my calls. I had scheduled an estate sale and this furniture set was included. He had at least two months to repair the furniture before the sale. He never repaired the dining room table and I lost a minimum of $500.00 on the sale of the set. There is no way I would ever hire this company. Because of his assurances, I had paid the movers upon completion with a remark at the top that furniture had been damaged. Had I refused to pay, I would have been more satisfied. As it is, I was out the cost of the moving and lost money on the sale.
