Baits mixed with insecticides work best to attract foraging ants which then carry the bait back to the nest, eventually killing the colony.
Spiders
Spiders prefer undisturbed places to weave their webs. All Valley Spray Service can apply sorptive dusts that provide permanent protection against spiders. The dust is best used in cracks and crevices and in attics, wall voids, and other enclosed or unused places.
Termites
Termites in California include drywood, dampwood, and subterranean species. They can cause serious damage to wooden structures and posts and may also attack stored food, books, and household furniture.
Fleas
Fleas and ticks can be carried indoors on pets or clothing that have come in contact with an infested area or animal. After spending time outdoors, you should always check for ticks on skin and clothing, and regularly groom your animals.
Cockroaches
Cockroaches thrive anywhere that food and water is available. They prefer warm and humid places such as kitchens and bathrooms. Nocturnal, cockroaches are sneaky and scurry into hiding places making them difficult to trap or spray.
Bees
Stinging usually occurs near nesting sites. Bees and wasps become aggressive when defending their nests, although yellowjackets sometimes sting near a food source.
Wasps
Spiders. Ants. Cockroaches. We also take care of fleas and ticks, wasps' nests, and make it so those pesky flies and mosquitos won't come around, either.
Ticks
Spraying works in areas where pets sleep or rest such as a doghouse and kennel areas, beneath decks, and next to the foundation. Treating your pet with flea and tick products will normally prevent reinfestation. And if you spend time outdoors, protect yourself with a product containing DEET to repel ticks and mosquitos.
Mosquitoes
In many areas, public mosquito and vector control agencies manage mosquito abatement programs. However, some people live in remote areas where no organized mosquito control exists.
Flies
To keep flies from coming inside, cracks around windows and doors should be sealed and fitted with screens. Outdoors, remove garbage, including dog feces and rotting fruit, to limit fly-breeding sites.
Starlings flock in huge numbers (sometimes millions) to feed and roost in trees and buildings. They are often seen swooping in clouds of moving formations before roosting at dusk. The droppings they leave can coat a parking lot in white.
Crows
Crows roost in large flocks during the winter and are known to eat anything from seeds, fruit and insects, to carrion and small animals.
Pigeons
Pigeons roost on roofs, in attics, warehouses and barns. They return to the same nesting and feeding sites like clockwork. They feed mainly on seeds and grains, but have adapted to most foods discarded by people.
We keep your lakes and ponds clear of algae, invasive vegetation and mosquitos while protecting wildlife and valuable fish such as Koi. We can also help control pest problems such as birds and burrowing rodents.
Mice
Mice and rats are attracted by sources of food and warm, safe places to nest. Besides carrying diseases and fleas, their gnawing can cause considerable damage inside the home.
Rats
If you have problems with mice, rats, squirrels or birds, we have ways to rid their unwanted mess using approved traps, repellents and barrier deterrents to keep them from making your home theirs.
Squirrels
Squirrels eat desirable plants and cause chewing damage to trees and roots. Ground squirrels differ from tree squirrels in that they make their nests in the ground — sometimes undermining erosion controls and waterways.
Gophers
One gopher can devastate a garden in a short time. Gnawing gophers can damage irrigation lines and sprinkler systems. Their mounds disrupt lawns and interfere with mowing.
