Alabama Power Appliance Service

Had an extended repair warranty for a washer that was purchased from Home Depot. The repairman showed up on time 3 times by himself each time telling us it was a different part than the visit before. The 4th visit 2 repairmen showed up, not even having a pair of channel locks to work with. They worked on the washing machine for sometime before telling us it was a door lock that was replaced on the first visit. Of course the machine wasn't repaired in addition to those frustration's this company touts on its web page they repair all models, the repairmen tell me it's out of their power, they can only repair the part they are told to repair, Huh? The entire time they showed no ownership in repairing the machine their concept was that they could only fix what they were told to fix...again Huh? Would love for someone to explain to me how someone who hasn't even looked at the machine can only fix what someone who hasn't looked at it tells them to fix? I was told, :don't shoot the messenger" they just worked there!! If this is a repair company, I'm Warren Buffet!!!

Worst and most expensive repair service I have ever experienced. I too was quoted an $89 service fee which mysteriously increased to $220 after the visit. Next visit found another problem and more costs. Now I am in for about $430 and 3 weeks later still not repaired. Had I had the complete story up front, I would not have invested the money to repair the appliance. Really disappointed in the quality of their service.

Alabama Power is absolutely excellent. They are committed in working with you any way possible.

Very misleading in service charges as well as high repair costs. They will tell you that there is a $89 service fee to look at appliance but after 15 minutes the costs (without any repairs) goes to $149. After you add their high repair costs you are better off buying new appliances from somewhere else. Not Alabama Power Appliance Center ... they too are over priced.
