I contracted with this office to assist me in document preparation for an upcoming unlawful detainer case. In my case the owner of the home was not paying the mortgage and the property was slotted for a foreclosure auction. I met with Ed Guy who said that as a tenant I had rights and he would assist me by getting me the extra time I needed to move. I deposited $1000 into his account and met with him to sign the contract for services which I now see was extremely broad based. It turned out the auction date came and went the house didn't go to sale. I found other options to save the house that I wished to pursue and requested a refund. After yelling profanities at the top of his lungs at me about all the "work" that he put in (mind you the house never went to foreclosure sale so no court documentation was ever done), he refused to give me my money back. In addition, in the weeks prior to the auction date of my home Ed Guy frequently told me about other "clients" that he was having similar problems with. Several people including a pastor was unsatified with his level of service and wanted refunds that he laughed that they would never get. He gave me details about other clients cases and was just all around unprofessional. Once he had my money and I saw his low level of professionalism, I just wanted him to complete the services that I hired him for so that I could be done with him. I have yet to get any of my money back and as I've stated he has not had to generate any paperwork for me. I am a single mother and now I have to take this scammer to court. Do business with this man at your own risk!
