Abracadabra Video Productions

We talked with him 2 weeks before the wedding. We had only wanted video of the father daughter dance. But he said he had new equipment to try out and would film everything. He arrived at the church after the ceremony was taking place. We had asked for a contract but never got one. He verbally quoted $300. Fine. He did post the video of the dance, which we complimented. He said wait till you see the whole video. Well that never happened. He sent a DVD that was burned wrong and all that appeared was the side of our daughter's head. We returned it. He agreed it was formatted incorrectly. He said he would give us the raw footage. Never got that. He didn't return phone calls, never quoted us a price for anything other than the dance, nor for a full finished video nor gave us expectations of when or how much. After months of trying to resolve this, he sent a not so nice email saying he was erasing the footage unless we sent him a cashiers check for $1450. Lack of communication about pricing and services led to a disappointing experience. All I can say is demand a contract.
