ABC Appliance Repair

They came out to look at my refrigerator promptly but quoted a repair price that was more than the value of the refrigerator. It seems that the estimate was high for the repair.... I ended up paying for the service call and still had to buy a new refrigerator in addition.

Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of appliance repair! great experience, the secretary was pleasant to talk to and the tech was knowledgeable and personable. A+++

Our refrigerator started beeping Friday. My wife called ABC Saturday. The lady answering the phone sent out a technician right away. She explained to my wife that there would be a $59 fee. Ray showed up the same day. He told my wife that she should unplug the refrigerator for 30 mins and plug it back in. That might solve the problem. She told him that we had done that. Ray never tested any parts. He charged my wife $63.13 and would get a replacement computer board. Ray said fee would be refunded in a discount on the part. She agreed and order the part. We heard back Tuesday. He said GE wouldn't sell him part. He said to contact GE to get a tech to repair the fridge. I called office and asked for a supervisor, was told not possible. I was asked for info and the issue. She replied they charge the service fee no matter what because they drove to house. I told her that unplugging the fridge is not a diagnostic tool. She yelled for 5 minutes about the service fee and just repeated herself.

Thanks! I Called another place and they told me to just get a new fridge, i didnt trust their opinion so i called abc and they fixed it the same day! Wow, great marks for abc and terrible for their competition.

I called in and they were available the same day, i wasnt available until the next day so we planned for then. The next day Norm came out and fixed my refrigerator and oven!thanks for fixing up my appliances! happy holidays!

I was told my compressor was broken and starter not working on Thursday. My granddaughter called and got my daughter's repairman to come out and fix the thermostat for $150, which is a little over twice the amount of the diagnostic charge from ABC Appliance repair on Friday. My refrigerator cost over $3000 new but they wanted $699.00 for compressor alone. They charged me $63.13 to misdiagnose the problem and recieve money fraudulently!!!

WOW! These guys are great! We needed our refrigerator fixed and kept getting the run-around from a few other companies one of which wanted us to wait a week for service! I was at wits end and about to buy a new fridge for over a grand. My brother told me about ABC Appliance as he'd been using them for years. They called me back right away and had me booked in later the same day. The tech was able to get our fridge recharged and up and running again in about an hour. I was very impressed with their responsiveness punctuality and professionality! I typically do not leave reviews but felt compelled to do so for this company, good honest service people are hard to come by nowadays. Thanks for everything guys. I hope i don't have to call you anytime soon (no offense, lol) but if i need another appliance fixed up i know who to call! God bless!

I originally found this company on Angie's List and chose them because they had 240+ A+ reviews! My fridge gave out in the morning and they had somebody out later that day to fix it. He had the refrigerator fixed within an hour and I was able to salvage my food! Prompt and professional is what they advertise and they definitely delivered! Thank you again!

Wow, where do I start, if I could give these guys ZERO stars I would as that is too many!

Asked for them to come out and look at a dripping washer, got the quote and it was for $380 and this was with supposed $40 discount!! I was out of town at the time of the call so my wife took care of this, I called them back when she told me the quote to cancel, they told me I “HAD TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE CALL” in that rude tone, fine but it will have to be tomorrow when I get back. In the mean time ABC called back a total 12 times in the same day with in a 20 minute time frame! Then the next day when I got home at 3:30PM there was a threating letter to take us to small claims court to pay for the NON REPAIR/ORDER PART! Oh there is more now there is a threat of a civil suite case, wow ABC is this how you work, WAY over charge for the part, which was $49 I bought myself and replaced in 5 minutes! Yes $380 for a $49 part that took 5 minutes to replace, wow, if you need some repair completed, BEWARE of these guys!! Do you want to be overcharged, then threatened with phone calls then notes stuck to your front door for a canceled/over charged repair job, if so use them, there is plenty of other places in ABQ so choose wisely, I should have, now I have to hash this out with my lawyer, thanks ABC for being low class operation, I will tell EVERYONE I know and post in every possible online site I can, good luck with your case!



UPDATE: Tried to call these scammers to resolved the issue but when the lady on the phone I talked to, she stated that it was "people like me that ruin her job and for others" that was it I asked to talk to the manager and was refused and was threatened with more of the law suit and civil suite if I did not pay right away! I asked again to talk to the manager and was yelled at for at least 2 more minutes. When the manager finally called me back, Norman was understanding at and said it would be dismissed and all was good, BUT as soon as I got off the phone Ray the tech called me back up and DEMANDED I pay, wow, then Norman called back with more idle threats, wow all this over $60, are you people that desperate for money that you are resorting to threats over the phone and posting letters to someones door, WOW, PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE as you WILL BE SORRY!

My refrigerator was on it's last limb this past Saturday morning. With 4 children and an ill family member with medication that must be kept refrigerated you could imagine just how important it is for the fridge to work. I wasnt expecting to get an answer from any companies on a Saturday much less service. To my surprise ABC was open and scheduled me in immediately! I expressed the importance of my fridge working to the secretary (Debra I believe was her name), and they sent a tech out within the hour. The tech showed up knew exactly what to look for and had my fridge working within half an hour at fraction of the cost of a new machine!



Normally i do not take the time to write reviews as i am a very busy man, but the team at ABC Appliance really took care of me and my family. Thank you very much abc! '

I truly appreciate the great experience I had with this company. My tech was dressed properly, was professional and well mannered, I was given a reasonable quote and best of all my appliance was fixed within a few hours. To top it all off the service call was waved and i was given a warranty. Thanks for the awesome service!

I called Abc tuesday morning and they were out at my residence the same day. The tech had the parts that were needed for the repair and my fridge was fixed within a few hours. My tech was professional and on time. I will be using abc in the future for any appliances that i need fixed. Thanks guys!
