A Thinking Dog Academy

Who would have thought my old aussie mix was really this intellegent, thinking, well behaved canine? I never knew what existed under all that hair, but Joyce did! She has been fantastic in every way! From teaching me how a dog actually thinks, to all the extra patience in learning a new skill, and even skill progression in forming new behaviors - she's led my dog (and me) through the process with total confidence and ease. When she leaves our home, I KNOW I have the tools I need to work with my dog for the next 2 weeks until she returns. We practice alot and are always excited when we can show her a new skill we've mastered together. It's really fun "showing off" for family and friends who've known this dog for almost 8 years and didn't know he had it in him! It's been a total transformation in behavior and attitudes for all of us and we are so thankful for Joyce - she's a pro all the way around!!!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Joyce is! We have 3 dogs, two dachshunds and a mixed terrier breed. She has been working with one of our doxies on his obsessive barking and our other doxie on playing well with others. We started the training about two months ago and we have noticed a huge difference especially with the barking. Our dogs really seem to enjoy and get into the training, which makes it fun for us as well. We do work with our dogs 4-5 times a week, so don't expect miracles if you don't put the time and effort into it.
