Stop & Shop

I have been going to this store every day for over a year. I work at a restaurant a block away and live walking distance. I went in tonight to buy my 6 year old a chocolate milk, the owner started yelling at me that he was closed and that I needed to hurry up (I had been there only long enough to grab 2 bottles of milk and start walking towards the register. It was 8:22 and they do not close until 10. I asked him if he wanted me to pay for my item or leave and he began screaming at me. I reminded him that I was an every day customer of his to which he replied "I do not care!!" So I put down my milk and told him that I would never return to his store after being treated that way. He assured me that he "did not give a fuck!" I am the type of person who makes a point to support locally owned businesses like this one, but after tonight I truly regret the hundreds if not thousands of dollars I have spent in his store and all of the kind words I have spoken to him and his wife.
