Rodeway feels like living in a motel, Everything I see in the room looks great. lots of places were very close the hotel.

The staff is always friendly, beds are always comfortable, and water hot. The 2 room suites are pretty nice and roomy!

The staff was really nice and accommodating.

Has an overall great stay. Staff was awesome. Room price was great and I will definitely use them again next time I visit my Grand and great grands

Me and my wife have stayed here for over 25 days this year and out of all the Hotels in Nashville, this one is my fav! The front desk are always so kind and the rooms are nice. Bob is the manager and he's awesome with accomadating all of our needs whenever we run out of something. If you make a choice to stay anywhere, put this on your top list and you won't regret It!

I have stayed at this Rodeway multiple nights over the years and have no complaints.This is not a place to stay if you are looking for luxurious accommodations but if you want a good basic clean room, bath, TV, free WIFI and very pleasant staff this is your place to stay!The price can not be beat. The location is great for access to downtown on I 24 and I 65. When in Nashville I will always stay in the Rodeway on Trinity.

I had to attend a conference in downtown Nashville, and all the hotels there were SO expensive. I was really nervous about staying at this Rodeway on the outskirts of town, but really, it turned out to be fine. The price was excellent and the best thing was the security there was very good, and the staff very helpful, polite and communicative. The room seemed old and had no frills, and the water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired, but the wifi worked OK and the TV got LOTS of channels! Overall, it was a huge money saver and a good experience. Driving to the downtown location of my conference only took me 5-10 minutes and was SO easy!

There are some very negative old reviews that do not seem to apply anymore. Some criticisms are still valid only because this a budget priced hotel located in a less than ideal area of Nashville (e.g. noisy roads and near sketchy establishments). Don't let that deter you if you just need a place to stay.
The accommodations are clean and appear to have been recently refurbished (new paint, new tile, new carpet). The overall appearance is fairly new looking due to the sprucing up job that has been done recently.
We visited over St. Patrick's Day weekend and the place was full. Management was responsive to our requests for info, pillows, etc.
The breakfast was better than I expected with fruit, oatmeal and a variety of juices. The breakfast nook was reasonably spacious and not just a corner of the small lobby.
On the negative side, the walls are a bit thin especially the outside facing wall/window. The St. Paddy's Day revelers were a bit noisy at 3 AM but that is not the hotel's fault. Just a suggestion that you might need to keep the fans going in the room to provide a bit of white noise to counteract the other possible disturbances.
The hotel is located in an area replete with restaurants so getting something to eat is not a problem. Wal-Mart is just a couple of miles away as well as many of the other stores like grocery and gas stations.
Decent budget priced hotel.

for the price I paid (~$49/night), this was FAR more than adequate. There were many people loitering outside, which initially put me off, and it's far from the most updated hotel I've ever seen. However, the internet was free and fast, the bed was comfortable, the shower got hot quickly, and I didn't see anything dirty. For my money, that's a pretty swell deal. Would stay again.

Extremely clean, no bugs. Good distance to downtown. 12 dollar cab ride. Friendly staff. Helpful staff.

Great experience! The nice young man at the desk did his very best to make a couple of ole' girls comfortable, as we were 3 days there. Offered us a larger room w/ kitchenette, good beds,great view of skyline,close to the heart of Nashville, good prices. May be old part of town, but felt quite safe....Love to go back to the Ryman too!

Friendly front desk help. close to fast food dining & gas. Ez on/off the interstate highway. Price was low & room was clean enough for a one night stay. Got an early start on our road trip so didn't get a chance to check out the continental breakfast.

Staff was friendly, we slept well, and it's centrally located. I would stay again.

The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom looked like it may have been recently remodeled and you get clean towels. The young lady at the front desk Unique was very helpful.

If you are looking for a cheap rate near the downtown area this is not that bad. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms in Nashville are ridiculously high. We was looking for something near Bridgestone arena for the SEC tournament last week end and we did not want to spend a fortune on our room. The carpet looked like it was new and the bathroom looked like it had been remodeled recently too. check in was pleasant and easy. if you are like me and the kind of person that looks at a motel room as "you get what you pay for", then you will not be disappointed in this room at all. As I have already said I would for sure stay here again.

Cheap rooms but our room was clean and it was a quiet sleep. he view was worth it see pics. Breakfast was basic. Great liquor store within walking.

Clean, we stayed here for 4 nights. It is a little bit dated but no bed bugs or obvious filth. The shower was mold free, the carpets had just been cleaned. Close to fast food restaurants. Within an easy drive to all the downtown attractions. We did have to switch rooms because the floors were still damp and the staff was very accommodating.
