Really weird. I am playing bachalor tonight and really wanted Mr. Wok. Usually, the food is great. My wife is doing the family responsibility for a funeral.

As a complete aside, I would give the resteraunt a "zero". Simply becasue of the poor leadership - it as nothing to do with their food. How can you not speak with a leader in a resteraunt? How can they never be available? I think that I'm too honest for my own good. And, I can't lie. I really wish that I could. Maybe, they'll give me a response, or a phone call. I kinda doubt it; but, if they do, I will report that too.

Tonight was a "weird" experience. Here it is: I simply wanted a combination platter since it's only me. I wanted a combo with Pepper Steak and and something like Chicken Lo Mein. I asked them for their recommendation on how to make this work. Boy, I got an attitude. "We dont give anything away for free". Heck, I wasnt' asking for something for nothing. I was looking for a way to get both items within the combo. I would not have minded an answer such as, "I'm sorry; but, we are limited to a single selection".

I told them that I wasn't looking for anything for free; but, that their recommendation would mean a lot to best satisfy my empty stomach. Honestly, I still am. Gosh, McD's gets old quick.I'm starved and I'm not looking forward to Mickey D's!

I asked to speak with the owner. I was told that there was no way to get in touch with him and that I could try the middle of the month. I asked about the manager and received the same answer.

If you have a way to to contact the leadership, please let me know.

thank you,

Oh, I was not rude. I go out of my way not to be rude. But, why is there suddenly no-one available that may have some leadership responsibility at Mr. Wok's. i do not understand. Again, I was not rude, nor was I condensending. Granted, my Manderin sucks; but, I do try to speak it to show respect. And, no, I don not use words that could be miscued as contriversial.

This same thing happend with phone calls to four stores in the Nashville area, "Sorry, no manager available tonight; sorry, the owner only comes in once a month and we dont know the day - try the 13th". And, many other solutions.

Personally, I think their food is pretty good. Right now, I honestly don't know that I'll ever go back because of their strange responses to speak with their manager. Again, I was polite - I am not kidding about that.

In my opinion, they are a zero and that is simply because they have no conflict resolution available. Based upon my experience tonight, I would not recommend them to anyone. Perhaps, it's time for, "Undercover Boss". Kidding.

Yes, still hungry and now I gotta drive back downtown and time a Krystal.

It's nearly 2100 and I'm hungry. I am beginning to think that I am the joke - not, Mr. Wok.

thank you,

jay
