Cothren, Jackson MD

Dr. Cothren is a very intelligent physician. He has an excellent bedside manner. He is an extremely good listener. I had been complaining to other physicians for several months (years) about my symptoms but was always given the wrong diagnosis/treatment. When I recently went to see Dr. Cothren, he carefully listened and asked additional questions. I had a complete hysterectomy many years ago but no one had ever checked my hormone or TSH levels. Dr. Cothren drew these labs as well as a few others and discovered an extreme hormone deficiency in spite of the the fact that other doctors had just continuously maintained my HRT without checking to see if a deficiency was causing my symptoms. He changed my hormone therapy and I am very happy to say that after just one week of therapy change, I am feeling so much better!! I feel that he is the only MD that thoroughly listened to me well enough to find the cause of my symptoms.
