- When you walk through the doors of Clayton Dental Group for the first time, you can expect to step into a laid-back environment that’s suitable for the whole family and be greeted by friendly faces. We offer an array of services to try and meet all of our patients’ needs, and we take great pride in being one of the top dental offices for implant dentistry in the Middle Tennessee area. Dr. Clayton has worked hard and undergone additional training to become one of the most trusted experts in the area in the field of implant dentistry. At Clayton Dental Group we are capable of placing the implant and doing all the necessary prep work (bone grafting or sinus lifts) other practices might not be able to do.

- Our doors opened for the first time in 1967 when Dr. John Gholson started the practice. In 2007, after 40 years of providing the Nashville community with fantastic care, Dr. Gholson sold the practice to Dr. Ashley Clayton, who was working there as an associate at the time. Dr. Clayton has made it his mission to carry on the legacy of providing patients with outstanding care from trustworthy, friendly professionals in an environment where the whole family will feel comfortable.

If u are looking for a dental hygienist go see Marybeth at Clayton and Gholson. See is great and very professional. You will be very satisfied.
I have been going to Dr. Gholson now for 25 years (since I was 5). I absolutely love him and his entire staff. They are loving, compassionate, and sincere! I live and work in Murfreesboro and since I am an RDA I could receive a considerable discount from one of the dentists we work closely with, but because of the great service and excellent dental work at Dr. Gholson's office, I am happy to drive the extra 45 minutes and happy to pay the extra money!
My husband has been going to Dr. Gholson since he was very young and after the sudden death of my dentist I changed. Dr. Gholson is a gentle and knowledgable professional! If he tells you 30 mins...it will take 30 mins! Love him!!! GREAT DENTIST!
