The Greater Nashville Area Agency on Aging & Disability, also known as AAAD, is a statewide regional organization that plans programs and health care services for senior citizens and adults with disabilities. It provides information, health assessment and referral services for senior citizens. The organization offers home modification, health education, and adult day and respite care services, as well as assistance with aiding devices and medical supplies. Additionally, it provides legal assistance, case management, and nutritional and personal care services. The Greater Nashville Area Agency on Aging & Disability is a part of the Greater Nashville Regional Council, a regional organization of more than 10 counties and over 50 cities that offers a variety of programs and services on municipal and regional levels to its member counties. It is located in Nashville, Tenn.
