truck repair

I called these guys to wire my dodge truck to my horse trailer. I told them my truck had a short in the truck and I needed it fixed. They said they could fix the problem and for me to bring it in at 7am. I showed up at 7 and they said they were going to let Donald (dodge truck expert) work on my lights. They said leave the truck parked by the side of the building. We left and went home. We didnt think it would take that long. I had to go back downtown and passed the shop and the truck was still sitting there. I went inside because the other man that works there said they would have it done early afternoon. Nothing was done. The man that was there said donald had to go out on a couple of service calls and said when he gets back he would start working on it. This was 12:30pm when I stopped there. Well, its now 3:30pm and they close at 4pm. I called them to see if I needed to leave the truck there and they said for me to come get it and that there was nothing they could do and that it was a short in the truck. Duh, thats why I brought it and they said they could fix it. Well, I said, since you guys couldnt fix it there shouldnt be a charge right? He said he was going to charge me an hours labor of $75. They left it there all day and put my own 4 prong on there. I drove down the road and my friend that followed me over there said I had no blinkers or tail lights. All my lights on my truck were working. I just wanted them to replace the connector. They about cost me more money and I shouldnt have been charged. Thy acted like they really didnt even care and tried to pass this on to a business down the road. I made an appointment based on the comments the guy made about wiring a whole fleet of trucks to the same trailer. All I can say is they took my money and did absolutely nothing. It was worse than what I brought it in there for. I couldve used the money to put it towards another place. Its not a good business to charge people for work that was not done. I took my truck the next day to Nashville Spring and they fixed it within the hour. It was 3 fuses plus a relay. Now if they work on big trucks and you cant fix 3 fuses then you really didnt even look at it. Steer clear of this place.

Great customer service

My Kenworth just ran out of factory warranty and the dealership was going to charge me an arm and a leg to make what I thought were simple repairs. American Truck & Trailer was able to get my truck into the shop right away and got the job done 2 days sooner than the dealership estimate! I'll be using these guys for all my future routine maintenance!

Great Job

I have a fleet of 16 box trucks here in Nashville. The guys at American Truck and Trailer Repair bailed me out of a jam the very first day they were open for business.

My truck broke down at a local truck stop on the way out of town. Those guys immediately had a service truck on site and discovered my truck had no oil.

They towed it to their shop and repaired the leak and got me moving in less time I had expected.

These folks saved me not only a lot of time but a lot of money as well.

Thanks Todd, Bill, Dewayne and all you guys. All my trucks are coming to you guys from now on.

Good Job!

Awesome Service Great Rates

This just happened to me today! My truck broke down and I got a hold of a local "big name" shop who told me they could work on my truck in a couple days. That was ok but if my truck ain't running...I'm not making money. Plus their labor rate was around a hundred bucks! I saw American Truck & Trailer's sign on Lebanon Pike and called the shop. They told me to bring it in and they would get it in ASAP. They fixed it today, the same day it broke! And the labor rate was like thirty bucks less than the other shop. Next time any of my trucks break down I'm going to American Truck and Trailer Repair! Plus everybody was nice and professional.
