Originally formed in 1987 by brothers bobby and john. Currently fielding a p. A. S. S. Super late model and p. A. S. S. PRO late model. NOW a family trio since the addition of BOBBY'S SON jeff in 2011. Bobby calling the shots AS crew chief and john and jeff piloting the cars. They've built a succesful reputation with fellow competitors and race fans alike. In the late 1990S and early 2000S. Nashville. NC john batten was the MAN to beat when it came to super late model racing AT southern national. Race wins were commonplace to the driver of the #48 batten ceramic TILE/DIGITAL REPAIR/HUTSON insurance chevrolet. WHO also WON back to back southern national titles in 2004 and 2005. Batten has been a regular with pass south since the series started in 2006. Finishing in the TOP 10 in points each of the last SIX seasons. Being ONE of pass souths most consistent drivers.
