Is there a negative star ? Five stars for terrible horrible customer service.
If you want to buy fresh green chillies, they come with ripened old red chillies in a ziplock bag. When asked if I could just get green chillies, as I would have to throw out those ripened chillies, pat came the reply - NO! Take it or leave it. When pressed, the owner claimed all veggies go bad as it is their natural progression. I was shocked. So we pay for this guy's rotting veggies so he does not run a loss. When I raised an objection to that philosophy of throwing decaying veggies at customers, he literally threw me out of the store!! I guess he would rather have meek customers who do not mind paying for a bag of half decaying chillies. The arrogance. YES, they may have a huge selection of rice and what not, but a real bad selection of customer service and a huge chip on their shoulder. This is what monopoly does to customer service. If you can, drive to Waltham. Much better service and selection. Worth the trip a million fold.
