Sherman High School enrolls more than 450 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes math, art, English, science, social studies, psychology and foreign languages. The school operates 4-H and Hi-Y clubs. Sherman High School also provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. It organizes baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis and volleyball tournaments. The school additionally offers a behavior incentive program. Sherman High School provides guidance counseling services. It is a part of Boone County Schools, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools include Whitesville Elementary School, Brookview Elementary School, Madison Middle School and Scott High School.
