A clerk did not understand my request for a two night stay and the motel removed my belongings from the room without my knowledge. My sleeping medication and Sonic Care toothbrush came up missing. The manager refused to make it right saying that the cleaning staff is instructed to throw everything away when cleaning. The fact that I insisted that I wanted a two night stay and that the less than English Fluent clerk misunderstood me did not listen to my request for a two night stay had no impact on his position. My position is that I should not be held responsible for the incompetence or English speaking abilities of others. Moreover, that does not give them the right to throw away items of obvious value. My daughter who accompanied me had spoken to a women there who claimed to be the wife of the owner/manager. She said that they had had some problems with theft before. DON"T STAY if you value your belongings!!!!
