Pearl Nails

Love the tech Van - she does an awesome job on my pedicure and manicure. Wouldn't go anywhere else. She is a gem.

I had been going to Pearl Nails on and off for years. The previous owner was great. I went in to get my nails done only to find out that she had moved and sold the business. The owner (husband) did my nails. I ended up with acrylic all over my fingers, which he used a nail file to remove. Then he proceeded to paint my nails using shellac polish. He managed to get more on my skin than my nails. The polish on my nails stops short of the cuticles and there are bare spots along the sides. When I pointed out polish on the back of my hand, he took a buffing pad and buffed it off leaving a huge red welt. This is definitely the last time I visit Pearl Nails!

Dropped my 75 year old mother off for a manicure. She told them she wanted regular paint .. the same as she had on with a little sparkle. They showed her a color that she ok'd but after one nail she told them she didn't like it. The girl just said.. "It's so pretty" and kept going. She was rude the entire time, and filed her own nails while my mother was drying. They charged her 23.00 for a service she normally pays a lot less for... simple paint. When I asked them they said it was because they used gel polish (which she did NOT ask for. ) I told them she had said she did not like the polish after a single nail was painted and they did it anyway. She said she would re-do her nails for a price of 10.00. (Gee thanks.. now it would cost 33.00 for PAINT) As I was going out to the car to tell my mom they all started speaking and yelling in their own language. She was also jabbed 3 times and she was bleeding when I got her home. (See photo under Posts to page) Now she'll have to go somewhere and pay to remove the gel! I will never take her there again, nor will any of my family members go there. Ever.

I can easily say that I have never been in a salon where there is such unprofessionalism. I took my two 6 year olds, so that we could all get pedicures. The ped chairs do not massage and the remotes do not work. The nail techs were actually verbally fighting with each other in both english and the other language they speak. While fighting, they were complaining about being there. I could not believe this was actually happening, let alone in front of my children. The hours on Sunday are posted on the door that they are open until 6:00. We got there at 5:00 and were told they could still get us in, even though they were closing. At 5:30, a woman came in and the "girl in charge" says, we are closed, you can come back tomorrow. I don't like being negative, but I honestly have never seen anything like this before. I was in dis belief. I am pretty sure this behavior is an every day thing and just want to let anyone who is thinking about going here, to know what goes on.

I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!



I told the girl what I liked for my nails, acrylic full set. and she looked at me like I was from another planet. she flat out said we do natural looking nails and why would you want them to look fake? I get "fake nails" so they look finished. She also told me I had ugly nails. I was upset at this point, then to make matters worse when I asked for a different polish style, she kept asking me why?. she had a dirty look on her face the whole time I was explaining myself. I have never felt so out of place ever! Their customer service was horrendous. I will never be going back to this place again.

Well to start they had a great atmosphere, but when my cousin came with me to get a gel manicure (mind you she does have pretty short nails) and the woman who was doing her nails said and I quote: "you have ugly nails, I don't fix ugly nails" In the end they did a pretty good job on my gels.
