My wife had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Frank. Dr. Frank talked her into trying to resize her left areola during the procedure against her wishes. When the procedure had been completed Dr. Frank accidentally cut out the permanent stitch for the areola. Consequently her areola is now the same size as it was previously except now it looks like someone carved her up. The scarring is very noticeable and she does not like to look at her breasts in the light because of it.

Ultrasound
For years we’ve had few options to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and “smokers’ lines” on the upper lip. ThermiSmooth is a nonpainful treatment performed in our Munster and Hobart area office which helps in both these troublesome and common areas of aging. The treatment uses a small handheld “wand”, the tip of which is applied to the skin over the wrinkles. Much like an ultrasound, gel is used to conduct the energy from the wand to the skin surface. There is no downtime and the treatment takes roughly 30 minutes depending on the areas treated. * Because collagen remodeling takes time, Munster and Hobart patients will typically see results in two to three months. * Most patients will need a series of three treatments, spaced a month apart. An annual treatment is recommended as maintenance.
Radiation Therapy
Keloids. These are actually the result of abnormal wound healing. Dr. Frank may combine surgical removal with steroid injections at the site of the keloid. In some cases, radiation therapy may also be recommended. Because we don’t understand why keloids form, they remain a challenge for both patients and their doctors.
