This is the worse Freaking place ever!! Unfortunately this is the only rv store close to us or I would Never, I mean NEVER by or get anything done here! EVER! We have had serveral encounters With these crappy people! They are rude, unhelpful, and don't know their products! One of the guys was talking about my husband to another tech and didn't know I was with him, he said something that was incorrect about our rv so I corrected him and he looked at me shocked bc I caught him being a jerk and he was Wrong! Know your products you jerk! Oh and don't talk about stuff behind people's back you never know who's listening especially since you were Wrong!

Overall buying experience was great when getting our RV, the biggest problem is dealing with the poor craftsmanship of the service department and the run around on my warranty. We got the camper on 5/5/2015 and had very small issues with the camper until the converter was replaced, on 5/5/2016 at are first camping trip after the work I saw a bunch of burnt wires near the battery, so I called to ask what I should do and if it was covered under warranty. The service manager told me the converter had nothing to do with those wires and my warranty was over so I would need to pay the fee, at the time I didn't realize it was the same day we bought the camper and was still covered but he failed to tell me that while he was looking at my information on his computer. I had a real technician check it out for me and was told it was caused by a surge of power from the converter. So overall shady service department and very poor quality of work to be had from TAC.

repair shop issues not resolved

I took my 2004 explorer in for repairs, there was a metal clicking type noise coming from the drive's side front of the vehicle. At my last oil change done at this shop they noted that I was going to need to have the upper control arms and lower ball joints replaced but was ok at that time.Approx. a month later after noticing the noise mentioned above I took it in for these repairs. At that time I was told it now needed both upper control arms, ball joint, right front hub assembly, right rear hub bearing repair kit, alignment. I also had them replace a tire pressure sensor that was faulting at that time. I was told they'd call when the repairs were completed but wasn't called until after the mechanic had left for the day. When I picked up my vehicle as soon as I went to back out of the parking spot it sounded like everything on the left front side was going to break off, loud metal popping was heard. I went back in and told Kim who called the mechanic and I had leave my vehicle again and get a ride back home. I missed a second day of work and was then told it was because the parts were new and were no longer making the noise. They also were not able to reset the tire pressure sensor stating they did not have the correct tool and that the owner wanted Kim to shop around for the tool at a lesser cost than what she had found it for. My costs at this point were approx. $1,200.00. Approx. a week later I took it back in with the same popping noise, this is not the same noise I had heard before taking it in but the new noise after the "repairs" and was then told that I needed new front left hub, another $266.00. At this time I asked about the noise I had originally reported as I was still hearing this same noise as well. The mechanic showed me where something under the car had play in it that tied into something near the front driver tire but told me it would only make the noise when something was engaged (?) I now have a loud popping noise on the drive's side when I turn my wheel to the left when backing up, not every time but you can feel it in the floorboard when it does it. I had been calling and stopping by for two months speaking with Kim about getting the tire pressure sensor reset, I never received a call back from her although each time she stated she would call. My last stop at the shop I told her I'd take it somewhere else and bring them the bill she said she might be able to get me into a dealer and they're pay for it. I told her there was a dealer in Chesapeake, where I worked and she said she'd call me and let know. I did receive a call later that day from the new girl working with Kim telling me they could schedule an appt. in Elizabeth City. I told her Kim knew I worked in Chesapeake and could not make it to Elizabeth City and that she knew this. I also told her I would not be coming back to them for anything else. I missed several days of work for a job I was initially told would take a few hours and still have the same noises and new issues but haven't been able to afford to take it somewhere else. I would not recommend them to anyone for repairs and their customer service is terrible.

Best Price Around!

We purchased an Extang Trifecta bed cover here after calling several other places. Others were charging 80-100 dollars more than Truck Accessory Center!
