Suzanne Rimmer

I went to dental school with Dr. Rimmer. I can tell you that she is incredibly intelligent and has terrific hand skills like an artist or perfectionist. She cares about people and I'm proud to call her my friend.

They want your money but are not willing to refund you when you have problems only to learn her root canal was done incorrect. It had to be redone by another doctor. So I am paying twice for a root canal. Be ware do not use her for services.

Please notice how This practice got 4 positive reviews 6-1-11 after her sad plea of how she only wants to help on 5-31-11. Dr. Rimmer is well aware of how her staff treats the patients, its the way she operates her practice. No dental patient should suffer and it is inexcusable that a patient in pain should not get return calls. Just to let everyone know you can file a claim with the State Board of Dental Examiners, if all those who have truly had problems did this then she would be forced to operate in a way that benefited the patients and not her staff. How sad so many have suffered just because they wanted their teeth fixed,

If this dentist is so great why does she have to give discounts in the local papers to the first lucky 50 patients? I think her staff wrote in a lot of the positive posts, because out of the 30 or more people I have talked to 2/3 won't go back. I am very confused about taking walk ins and emergencies when she can't even stay on schedule for those patients she has and won't let those with problems come back. This dentist continues to defy just plain common sense!

Dr.Rimmer is great and the staff is very friendly and actually remembera who you are. However, whenever I try to call and nake an appointment I become inincredibly frustrated. The office really needs to get another phone or a second secretary because it is ridiculous that I can call everyday, three times a day, for a week and not hear from anyone!!!

Love them The staff all around was excellent.came in with a emergency and they were booked but put me in soon as I arrived.yes they busy but handle everyone well. Recommend anyone to go there and yes I will return 5 stars here!

Excellent all around care. I had an emergency and was in a lot of pain. She not only got me in promptly she took care of a couple of other issues I had as well. The hygienist and receptionist were great also. Everyone was friendly even though they were extremely busy. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

So, I have a mixed review. While I was pleased with the professionalism and proficiency of Dr. Rimmer, I am frustrated with her Office Staff. I understand that Dr. Rimmer isn't the one who makes the calls or "returns" the calls, but the things ultimately fall on the head of the leader. Dr. Rimmer has stated that what is an emergency to a client might not be an emergency to the Dentist. That may be true, but unless the client receives some sort of communication, then how are they to know. I have a temporary cap that has fallen out and am experiencing extreme sensitivity to heat/cold. Very uncomfortable. I have called the office 6 times and left three voicemails and STILL no response. Is that Dr. Rimmers fault? It is her office, her staff, and her decision as to how that staff is expected to conduct her business.

I would like to say that I would recommend Dr. Rimmer. She is professional as well as her fine outstanding staff. She recently saw me as an emergency and identified an underlying medical condition that would have most likely have been my undoing. Hopefully i will be able to get in and have these pesky wisdom teeth pulled out by this gentle lady once my family doctor gets my blood pressure under control. Hopefully soon.

My experience was terrible. It would take way to long to go into. Will never go back and certainly not recommend anyone there. Started driving to a dentist in VA and got super service from them. It was def worth the drive to VA to get better care than what I received here.

Currituck Dental is a wonderful dentist office to visit. I recommend them highly. Always receive a warm welcome when visiting for a cleaning. Staff is professional and operated smoothly. Also, the tall dark haired lady is very friendly and makes my children feel comfortable even though they highly dislike the dentist overall. A+ for Currituck Dental ;)

Dr. Rimmer. Please don't even glance at the negative reviews. Most people who take the time to write are so ticked at something else, they feel they have more power to "misdirect" their anger out on someone who they can hurt...that makes them feel better. Don't even address those people, they are angry at the world. Let them be your humor for the day. Bottom line, do you do a good job?--yes, people have stated. Is your heart into your work?--yes, you have stated. So go let go of those who get pleasure in complaining-- I went to you on emergency 6 years ago, and you did fine, moved too far away. You can't make everyone like you, so don't give the ones out to get you anymore power. Have a GREAT career!

I found the staff and Dr. Rimmer to be very friendly and helpful. From the front desk all the way back. They were able to get me in quickly and also gave me a quick appointment to get my son in. Dr. Rimmer's office was referred to me by a coworker and her sister that loved their office and I can see why. I had not been to a dentist in a long time and wanted to start going back. I was glad I chose this office. Would recommend them highly!

I appreciated Dr. Rimmer's concern not only for just filling my tooth but also taking the time to insure cosmetically I would be pleased. I never once felt like the work (services)was rushed or not completed at 100%.

I went into this practice feeling nervous because I was so embarrassed with the fact I had neglected the problems that were present concerning my teeth. All of that anxiety was alleviated with the understanding and eagerness to help rectify my concerns. I would reccommend Dr. Rimmer's office to anyone.

Unfriendly staff, long wait to get in, lots of problems with her work. Forget getting an urgent appointment. Don't go to this dentist
