        In 1974 six REALTORS from Mountain Home had a great idea for a New Real Estate company. A Real Estate Company that would cater to the needs of both the public, and the REALTORS serving them. From those early days, Jim Swank Real Estate has since carried on to be the largest independent Company on Mountain Home, Idaho. A Company built on solid ethics and customer service. Jim Swank Real Estate now serves the area from Cordelane to Twin Falls. As a result of this growth, Jim Swank Real Estate now employs over 6 salespeople. The company has added Insurance, property management and mortgage service to our ever-expanding network of Real Estate related companies and in the last eight years when the population of REALTORS has diminished industry wide to less than one half of the numbers in 1993, Jim Swank Real Estate has grown by over five hundred percent.         As a renter, i cant say enough good things about this company! I moved from out of state (across the country.) I was having a hard time finding someone to rent to me without coming into their office. but was hesitant to move that far with my young kids with out a house ready. even though it was after hours when we got to mountain home. someone came out and met us giving us the keys (it was ten at night!) saving another dreaded hotel stay with infants. They've been nothing but pleasant since we moved in. Any problems that have arisen, they have promptly taken care of. I recommend them to anyone!

        For property management, this business is horrible. They never keep you informed about the status of the tenant, property or rent deposited to your account. I've asked to be informed, say 5 days after a deposit is short for a reason / explanation. Never happens. Also I never get an invoice from this business, as my rental property is a tax liability, and I need that information. I have to ask for an annual statement each year. My last tenant went to a month to month agreement with them, I wasn't informed nor would have agreed. I queried selling the property, as they also as a realtor buy and sell property. They just ignored my request. I'm so disappointed with them. I don't recommend them, but do recommend Amanda Beatty at Mountain Home Pro at 208-587-7014 for real professional assistance.
