In 1921, a textile mill owner named Craig and an engineer named Hornbuckle built a dyeing machine to improve the machinery available at the time and led to the creation of Gaston County Dyeing Machine Company. Gaston County has its corporate offices to the Mt. Holly, N.C., encompassing over 340,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Gaston introduced the Cloth Beam Dyeing Machine and the Jet Dyeing Machine to the textile industry. The company has been expanding its capabilities in wet processing equipment by utilizing electronics with circuit board fabrication services.
