Decor is horrible and needs a good cleaning. I your Italian you wouldn't want to eat there.

Unbelievable! I ordered a plate and requested it spicy/hot. I got it back and it was drowned in vinegar and tobasco sauce. I told them I didn't want it after all. It was completely in-edible. I am not a picky eater and love everything, but this was completely out of range. I returned the entire plate with one bite into it and was charged for the plate anyway. I told them to give me a new plate to go since I was being charged anyway, and the owner used the same pastas and covered them with the regular sauce. The owner was highly controlling and extremely argumentative, rude, and simply ugly while I said nothing other than the plate was awful. The rest of the food my family had was horrible. It clearly was not anything cooked there, but appeared worse than frozen t.v. dinner type plates. The customer service was the worst. I will be sure to tell my friends and family about this. I will never return and hope that nobody else to make the same mistake I did. I'm just glad it was only $40. It could have been $4,000. The Palm Tree Grill downtown Mount Dora has top notch Italian food, but you pay the price. It's worth it though.
