RLA Lighting

I ordered 2 light fixtures from RLA Lighting. One of the fixtures had rust spots on it upon arrival, so I immediately e-mailed RLA Lighting so I could get a replacement fixture. Due to an English comprehension problem (the company is apparently run by non-English speakers), they ordered a replacement for the wrong fixture. I was never notified that a replacement had been ordered, and I had to e-mail them a few times before they finally let me know that it had been ordered. When I received the replacement and saw that it was the wrong fixture, I immediately e-mailed RLA again to inform them of the mistake and request the correct replacement fixture. Again, I had the same issues with a lack of updates on the process. Eventually, the replacement fixture arrived...but the replacement fixture had a glaring problem: the bar supporting the 2 lights was slanted in comparison to the main body. In addition, there was visible rust inside the bag of the fixture. Again, I immediately e-mailed RLA about this issues, but this time I requested a shipping label so I could return the faulty fixtures for a refund. After much persistence, I received one shipping label and was told to return only one of the fixtures. This was rather confusing, as it would mean I would have to make 2 separate trips to the UPS store...even though I had both faulty fixtures packed and ready to ship now. Plus, I wanted a refund...so wouldn't it make sense to ship back all of the faulty merchandise at once so the refund could be processed quickly? I would think so.



My advice: STAY AWAY from RLA Lighting. Their broken English e-mails and apparent lack of English comprehension makes them VERY difficult to do business with.
