Midnight Auto

I took my car there to get an oil change and they put the wrong size oil filter on it. 500 miles later my oil light came on and I thought something was wrong with the car but it ended up being the filter was a third of the size it was supposed to be

I had heard many good things about Midnight Auto through the years, and my car was just out of warranty, so I thought I would try. Very knowledgeable, with fair pricing! I will definitely use again.

I just wanted one thing on my truck repaired. I was coming home from work one afternoon after my truck was in their shop 10 days and found them joy riding in my truck. After I followed them back to the shop, I was told they were "test driving it". After another 6 days I called to check on the progress and was told a bunch of other things needed repaired. I was also told no work had been completed. I told them to stop what they were doing and I would pick my truck up. I went to their shop the next after noon and low and behold my truck was sitting inside the shop with the hood up. The repair I requested did not require for them to be under the hood. I told them I was there to pick it up but was told they were state inspecting it. I never told them I wanted it inspected but they asked me if I wanted them to finish. I told them no. They then tell me my exhaust has holes in it and they were just getting ready to fix them. I tell them I don't want them fixed. They then inform me that the work I originally wanted done was completed before I called to stop it and they fixed some other things that they found leaking. The original repair I asked for should have been no more than $300. They charged me well over $600. So beware.......They may do good work but will also repair anything they want without your approval and charge you for it. Also very slow. I know they didn't do any work on my truck until I told them I was picking it up....It was there almost 3 weeks. I would never recommend them to anyone for any type of repair.

I had a poor experience at Midnight Auto. I had my vehicle towed to them when it broke down, It took them 2 weeks before they even looked at it, when they finally did, of course it needed a new engine. Then they quoted me a price to replace the motor and when they completed the work 2 1/2 months later, the quoted price had doubled. They never called to keep me informed of the progress. When I called their receptionist, who was very nice, I was told they would get to it that week, but they kept delaying. My vehicle was never their priority and the charges were very high. Do yourself a favor shop around before you go to Midnight Auto.

I've used this shop many times in the past. So has a lot of my family. I would recommend them to anyone, and only trust these guys. Today I called around just to check for the price to have my car towed to the dealer (its under warrenty, just the towing is my dime) and they gave me the best price. Way to go Midnight Auto!
